Matt is an experienced and competent attorney who will provide personalized care for your legal needs.
For over 23 years, Matt served with distinction as a member of the Palatine Police Department, retiring in 2017. While working as a school resource officer, Matt attended the John Marshall Law School at night, graduating and passing the Illinois Bar in 2004.
In 2006, Matt became a professor at the University of Phoenix, teaching Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.
Since leaving law enforcement, he has handled criminal defense cases and municipal prosecution. In addition to criminal law, Matt prepares wills and trusts, settles probate claims and can help with real estate matters. Matt’s experience as a police officer and prosecutor makes him a unique and desirable defender for his criminal clients and he continues his lifelong service to the law in helping his estate planning and real estate clients navigate the legal waters associated with their individual cases.
